Landscape quilt series
Textile collages
In 2018 I started to work with fabric. These abstract landscape quilts are the first series in this technique. Via their tonality of colours the large format motives translate the mood of light during different times of the day and year into textile collages. They are inspired by my admiration of the beauty of nature and a development of my paper collage works into a more haptic materiality. In summer 2018 these quilts were shown during the exhibition „Fabullage“ at gallery Löwen.haus (Gerswalde, Uckermark) together with works of Cristóbal Schmal and Valerio Vidali.
