Casa Co

Design Study for a modular house system with Eva Mair, 2014

Casa Co is a modular house system that can be adapted to varying circumstances regarding plot, size, climate, regional materials and clients requirements. A possible basis module is a standard shipping container, which is structurally independent, prefabricated and transportable. As its outer skin is resistant against rain and wind but sensitive with sun and cold we developed a mantle that is protection and at the same time generates interesting outdoor spaces with special habitation qualities. Furthermore it creates an independent architectural identity and is capable to connect the house to its context and the clients needs.
